ABOUT

Cobi Krieger is a research consultant focused on diversity and equity in the creative workforce. Krieger is also a project manager who works with artists and arts organizations to produce meaningful experiences.

By partnering with leading members in the arts community, Krieger seeks to extend the benefits of art-based experiences to those who seek them. By creating innovative research about barriers in the arts, or by conceiving and producing art-based content and events for the public, Krieger’s goal is to make the arts inclusive.

Since relocating to LA in the summer of 2018, Krieger has worked directly with the LA County Department of Arts and Culture, Arts for LA, ForYourArt, and Frieze LA. Within these partnerships Krieger has served as a liaison to many more arts organizations and creatives in LA.

Prior to relocating to LA, Krieger worked in Tel Aviv as a studio manager for several emerging artists. He also managed ‘Hasayeret - Alternative Tel Aviv,’ an art tour company focused on urban and contemporary art in Israel and held several sales positions at Israel’s largest art fair ‘Fresh Paint’.

Krieger holds an MA in Arts Management from the Center for Business and Management of the Arts at CGU (formerly known as Sotheby’s Institute of Art), a BA in Art History and a BA in accounting from Tel Aviv University. In 2020, Krieger became an Arts for LA Activate: Innovators Fellow.
